Dr Boben is a Renowned medical and Paediatric Oncologist who is serving as Consultant Medical Oncologist. He is associated with various hospitals such as the Carithas Cancer Institute, Kottayam , G.G Hospital, Trivandrum, St Thomas Hospital, Changanassery, Department of Medical and Pediatric Oncology, KIMS, Trivandrum & Medical Oncology, AIMS, Kochi.

He completed his Oncology training from Amritha institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi and (TMH) Tata memorial Hospital, Mumbai; Clinical Research training from eminent institutions such as Oxford University, London and Symbiosis University, Pune and Immunotherapy training from ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology). He was instrumental in establishing the first Medical Oncology, Hematology- Oncology, Pediatric Oncology and Stem Cell Therapy in the private sector in South Kerala. 

Dr. Boben Thomas is the Founder and Current Secretary of Trivandrum Oncology Club (TOC), Association of Medical and Pediatric Oncologists of Kerala (AMPOK) and Onco Nutrition Society of India (ONSI).He was the organizing secretary of the 38th ICON meeting conducted at Kochi in March 2018 and has organized several national and regional oncology CME’s. He has several international publications in peer scientific journals to his credit.
