Dr. Ravi Dadlani earned his M.B.B.S from M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore in 1998. As an undergrad, he contributed to two governmental projects and published a paper. In 2005, he specialized in neurosurgery from the Manipal Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND), a leading facility in South India.

Post-graduation, Dr. Dadlani began at St. Philomena’s Hospital, Bangalore, later transitioning to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS). This specialized hospital exposed him to a wide range of neurosurgical procedures. He independently operated on 1800+ patients and contributed to 30+ international publications. Notably, an image from his research graced the cover of JNS-pediatrics in 2013. He’s been an evaluator for the National Board of Examinations for two years.

After advanced neuro-oncology training, he earned a Master’s from Macquarie Neurosurgery in Australia, gaining expertise in surgical techniques and lab research.

Returning to India, he helped establish the neurosurgical department at Sunshine Super Speciality Institute, Hyderabad, and led the department at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Nellore. 

Research & Publication: He was involved in two governmental projects during his undergraduate years and has over 30 publications in international journals.

1. General Neurosurgery: With his foundational training from M.S.Ramaiah Medical College and specialized training from MIND.

2. Post-operative Telemedicine Care: He was deeply involved in the telemedicine center at SSSIHMS, which focused on remote post-operative care.

3. Neurosurgical Procedures: At SSSIHMS, he was exposed to a wide variety of neurosurgical procedures, operating on over 1800 patients independently.

4. Surgical Neuro-oncology: He concluded advanced training in this area, signifying a deep understanding and skill set related to tumors of the nervous system.

5. Advanced Surgical Techniques: Acquired from Macquarie Neurosurgery in Australia, especially complex endoscopic skull base techniques under renowned professionals like Prof Richard Harvey and Dr. Andrew Davidson.

6. Laboratory Research: His stint in Australia also involved lab-based work, particularly cell culture projects related to melanoma metastases to the brain.

7. Departmental Leadership & Setup: Demonstrated by his roles in establishing and leading neurosurgical departments in several institutions, including Sunshine Super Speciality Institute and Apollo Speciality Hospital.
