Dr. Sarita Vinod graduated from Karnataka Medical College in Hubli, she went on to complete her Internal Medicine training at Aultman Hospital and Timken Mercy hospitals in Canton, Ohio. Subsequently, she embarked on a transformative experience by joining the esteemed Cleveland Clinic Foundation for a Fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension. During her tenure, she received comprehensive training in ICU nephrology and transplantation, which equipped her with a deep understanding of nephrological care. She then moved back to India, where she served as a consultant Nephrologist at Jehangir Hospital in Pune, actively participating in kidney transplantations and improvising the standards of dialysis care.

Her commitment to the field led her to Chennai in 2005, where she continued her consulting work at Isabel and Meenakshi hospitals while also contributing her expertise as a visiting consultant at Sri Ramachandra Medical College. In 2012, Dr. Vinod’s passion for quality healthcare culminated in the establishment of Vijay Ganga Speciality Care, a center dedicated to outpatient quality dialysis and preventive care. Fast forward to 2021, she took another significant stride by launching Vinita Hospital under the VijayGanga Speciality Care banner in Nungambakkam, a state-of-the-art 50-bed facility.

Impressively, within just 12 months, the hospital achieved NABH accreditation and secured a transplant license, now offering a wide range of super specialties and top-quality dialysis services. Dr. Sarita Vinod’s unwavering commitment extends beyond medical practice, as she continues to educate the public on preventive care and community health. Her journey is a testament to dedication, expertise, and a relentless pursuit of healthcare excellence.
