Dr Hareesha Babu K, is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist & Transplant Physician, practicing in Whitefield, Bangalore, for last 14years. He has vast experience in treating various renal diseases. His core areas of interest are Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Renal Transplantation. He is actively involved in Renal Transplantation & has one of the few “Swap Renal Transplantation” in the state of Karnataka to his credit. He was awarded Fellow of American Society of Nephrology (FASN) in 2017 and Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Glasgow in 2018.

He has publications in various National and International Journals. He has been a Faculty of India Society of Nephrology National Conferences and has delivered lecturers. He was instrumental in establishing the Department of Nephrology at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, where he worked as Prof, & Head and worked as Professor of Nephrology at Sri Devraj Urs Medical College. Earlier worked as Senior Consultant Nephrologist at Sparsh Hospital. Presently working as Senior Consultant Nephrologist at Belenus Champion Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore.
