Basic training as ENT surgeon, further training as Facial Plastic Surgeon in UK, Continental Europe and USA.  Passed the examination by American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery as an European candidate and certified by European Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and International Board of Facial Plastic Surgery.  Later certified by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons as a Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. 

Clinical Experience

In addition to routine ENT surgical procedures, Dr. Ullas has received advanced training in rhinology facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery from the UK, continental Europe and USA.

Specialized in performing open and closed septorhinoplasty including tip correction, nasal valve corrections and closure of septal perforations. Cartilage grafts from septum, conchal bowl and rib have been used for these operations when required.

Specialized in performing reanimation techniques for facial palsy including temporalis muscle lengthening procedure.

Specialized in cosmetic rhinoplasty , cosmetic upper and lower blepharoplasty, endoscopic and other brow lift, mid facelift, face lift, neck lift, facial implants, pinnaplasty, anti wrinkle injections, laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, chemical peel and scar revision.

Specialized in aesthetic surgery and reconstruction of various facial defects eg: total or subtotal nasal reconstruction, repair of facial trauma, reconstruction of defects of the eyelids, reconstruction of defects of pinna using various local skin flaps such as paramedian forehead flap, bilobed skin flap, rhomboid flap, advancement and rotation flaps.

Besides Facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, Dr Ullas also routinely performs advanced sinus surgery including frontal sinus, anterior skull base surgery, sphenopalatine artery ligation etc.
